It’s been 12 years of continuous accomplishments, growing from one location in downtown Sandusky, now with three locations, including our Berlin Heights Unit and Huron Youth Connection units, as well as our outreach programs at schools. Along with a name change a few years ago from Boys and Girls Club of Sandusky to Boys and Girls Club of Erie County; the demand continues to grow, affected by economic conditions; families need an inexpensive and safe place for kids to go for after school activities, help with homework, programming with trained staff, and a place to nourish their hunger. Through our programs and collaborations we provide this and more. The support of the community continues to be the hallmark of our existence. Local donations greatly impact every child in our programs. We greatly appreciate the support our community has given to us, from the local foundations, financial investors, parents of members, friends and neighbors, and corporate sponsors, together, through our hardworking board and dedicated staff; we have reached out and touched the lives of thousands of children in this community.
