  • Complements regular school-day activities
  • Enhances academic performance
  • Fosters positive study habits and self-discipline
  • Provides guidance and resources to keep members on track as they transition through school and on to college, trade school, or career
Our Academic Programs
  • Power Hour: Club professionals provide strategies, activities, resources and information to create an engaging homework help and tutoring program that encourages Club members at every age to become self-directed learners.
  • Club Tech - NetSmartz: Promotes and teaches Internet safety skills through engaging multimedia activities and offline interaction with Club professionals in three age-appropriate groups.
  • Money Matters: Promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club members ages 13 to 18. Participants learn how to manage a checking account, create a budget, save and invest, start small businesses and pay for college.
  • Youth of the Year: The premier national recognition program for Boys & Girls Clubs of America members, which honors and celebrates young people who have distinguished themselves by rising above challenging circumstances. The winners receive college or trade school scholarships.
